Philmont Golf Club

The result is a course that provides a welcomed challenge, yet is accessible to players of all abilities to prepare you to meet its challenge, Philmont is one of the best golf courses in Philadelphia which offers an exceptional array of golf programs for your family, including Junior Golf and both group and private lessons/clinics for all ages. As you would expect from a club like Philmont, the Golf Shop offers a complete line of equipment, accessories, and attire.
Philmont members have an array of tournament programs to choose from and are offered April through October. They include breakfast tournaments, team matches, member-guests, league play, couples championships and many more using a variety of formats. The golf staff prides itself on having a strong tournament program that is competitive, yet fun, to develop camaraderie among the participants. You will also find our golf staff attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to ensuring your golf experience is memorable.
Philmont Country Club is a private club, and while daily play is limited to members and their guests, we can accommodate a limited number of corporate or charity-sponsored golf outings. In addition to our championship golf courses, Philmont also has a practice range, short game area, two practice putting greens, golf bag storage, well-appointed men's and women's locker rooms, and offers the option of full caddie or cart services for your enjoyment of the game.
The course has hosted many prestigious events including the Nike Tour (now the Nationwide Tour) in the mid-90s and local qualifiers for the US Open and US Amateur. It is a true classic with tree lined fairways and firm, fast greens.
